SEALED NIPPLES

Ex d

The sealed nipples of the NPS series are connection elements used for cable entries in Ex enclosures with protection types d, e, or t. They can be used as connection elements and for cable passage between enclosures with the same protection type or enclosures with different protection types. The nipples can have one or two threaded ends with the same thread size or different thread sizes. They can be used with cables such as Radox, Ethernet 5E, 62.5/125 optical fibre, or RG223 coaxial cable.

RIGID PIPE AND FLEXIBLE PIPE

I flexible pipes are used where rigid pipes cannot be applied. The total length is expressed in millimetres, including terminals and threads. Material: stainless steel, internal helical corrugated AISI321; external coating and connection terminals AISI304. The conduit pipes for the passage of conductors are made of Fe360 steel, galvanised inside and outside UNI5745. The pipes are supplied in 6-metre bars, with male threads at both ends GK UNI6125 (or NPT), complete with sleeve UNI7683.



CABLE GLANDS

Cable glands for armored (double seal) and non-armored (single seal) cables for explosive areas group II zones 1-2-21-22. Thread types: GK UNI 6125 or NPT or ISO Metric pitch 1.5

Materials: galvanised steel (standard). A = aluminium,

OT = nickel-plated brass, X = stainless steel AISI316.
